One Riddle, One Answer

Hello everyone,
I hope you are having a great Saturday. Here in Ponferrada the weather is not helping...
As I told you on Friday, here you have the story that we read in class.
Listen to it, and pay special attention to the pronunciation of those words in bold (words in black).
Hope you enjoy this long weekend!
See you on Tuesday ;)

Enjoy your summer holidays!

Good afternoon everyone!

It's time to say goodbye until next September.

I want to say thank you because most of you have worked a lot even when we never worked like this in class. I am really impressed and I really appreciate it.

I want to say thank you to your parents because they have helped you a lot to get all the activities done and emails sent. Thank you very much!
My recommendations for the summer are the following:

Don't do a summer revising activity book! You have worked enough this year.

If you want to practise your English:

Watch cartoons or tv shows in English with English subtitles. If you do this, try to start with something easy.

Watch youtube videos in English. (asking your parents for permission, of course)

Listen to music in English. Watch videos with the lyrics.

Keep a diary and write how you feel or the things that you do in summer.

Do some exercise with The body coach:

I hope you have a wonderful summer holiday and I hope to see you in September!
Take care, please!

Finish the worksheet!

Good afternoon everyone!

This is the last week of the year!

We are going to finish the worksheet. You have to do exercise F. You have to choose T(true) if the verb in the past is right, or F(false) if the verb is wrong. That's it!
Make sure you send it to me so I can see how you did it.

See you here on Friday!

Pronunciation of -ed

Good afternoon everyone! How do you feel on the first day of June? Holidays are around the corner.

Here you have the solution to the exercises you have done:

As we keep on working on the past of regular verbs, we are also going to learn how to pronounce them. The ending -ed has three different pronunciations that I am going to explain in the following video:

Here you have the explanation of the activity:

An here you have the worksheet. Make sure you watch the explanation of the activity so you know what you have to do:

Try to do your best! I know that this is tricky at first, but if you understand how to use the rules, it would be really easy!

See you on Friday!
